The thesis is about improving product innovation performance in Wavin B.V. in the following aspects:

  • Proper understanding of market situation and customer needs in an early phase to support new product definition and setting of commercial targets.
  • Effectiveness of the product introduction process in view of achieving targeted or better commercial success.

Head of Research and Development at PT. Indoneptune Net Mfg. Co., Indonesia

  • Led and managed projects on new product development including: national scale project of set net - an eco-friendly and fuel-save fishing net, assembly net for Russian and Japan market, fast-mounting fishing net for French market, and abalone aquaculture net for Australian market.
  • Involved in decision making for increasing manufacturing capacity and buying new machines /production facilities, in terms of conducting analysis, calculation and making recommendation.
  • Coordinated a team with 30 more people.
  • Led team for testing and controlling the quality of fishing net products.
  • Became a liaison between Japan Headquarter and Indonesian factory in technical development.
