A Joint Programme of Friedrich Schiller University and the Max Planck Institute of Economics, Jena
Long Night Of Science 2011

On the evening of the 25th of November (Friday), the GSBC-EIC presents itself at the Long Night of Science in Jena with one musical and one experiment.

The Experiment

Kirsten Häger, a Post-Doc at the GSBC-EIC and the Chair for Empirical and Experimental Economics, will give you and your children the opportunity to experience how economists perform experiments outside the laboratory. The parents are of course most welcome to accompany their children. The experiment will take place in the Foyer of the Friedrich Schiller University, area 3 between 18:00 and 24:00 o'clock. The Bachstraße Boys Musical

Six doctoral students in economics with offices in the Bachstraße 18k (and therefore Bachstraße Boys) will bring closer to you the lives of our PhDs and some main economic dilemmas through music and act. If you don't believe that economists can act and sing, join Ivan, Igor, Simone, Sohaib, Abi, and Mingdi in their 20-minute show on Friday at 20:00 o'clock or 21:00 o'clock in Auditorium (HS) 8 at the Friedrich Schiller University, Carl-Zeiß Str. 3, Jena.
