GSBC EIC members attended the Nobel Laureate Meeting in Economic Sciences in Lindau

The Nobel Laureate Meeting in Economic Sciences took place for the 4th time this August, in Lindau, Germany. Around 370 young economists from all over the World were selected in a global competition to exchange ideas with 17 Nobel Laureates in Economic Sciences. Among the young economists were also 2 current members of the GSBC-EIC, Ljubica Nedelkoska and Simon Wiederhold, as well as one former GSBC-EIC member, Stefan Bauernschuster. The dominant topic of the meeting was the ongoing financial and economic crisis. In order to strengthen the economic debate with economic policy, the German Minister of Finance, Wolfgang Schäuble, and the German President, Christian Wulff also addressed the audience.
